Event Information

The fifth annual OSCARS celebration took place June 6 to June 8, 2003 at the Forest Park Conference and Retreat Center in Topeka. The evening began on Friday, June 6 with dinner and a recognition of all nominees and nominators. Saturday, June 7 was dedicated to training. This provided the judges an opportunity to observe and interview the nominees and select the winners. Those winners were announced at the OSCARS banquet, Saturday, June 7 at 6 p.m. All nominees who were present, participated in the training and event and were then eligible to win the competition in each of their respective categories. All nominator’s were invited to attend if their nominee was a finalist. In 2003, over 300 people attended. However, in past years as many as 500 people have been known to participate in this Keys for Networking annual event.
