Sharon Morey
Sharon has spent the last 15 years working with children and families with special needs. She is the mother of two adult children, Patti and Shawn. Shawn has Attention Deficity with Hyperactivity and Patti has three boys who are all special needs' children and all have Individual Education Plans. Sharon has a degree in psychology and counseling and has worked with school systems, Social and Rehabiliation Services, mental health associations, judicial systems, attorneys, and hospitals. Sharon is a good advocate for children and families, a good listener, knowledgable of children with special needs and the systems they are served by. She is also a good spokesperson, problem solver, and works well in a crisis. Sharon stays current on laws and regualtions and has excellent communciation skills. She would travel as far as Baxter Springs as well as her own immediate area to assist families.
