Kathy Helms
Kathy is a divorced mother of two children ages fourteen and sixteen. Her fourteen year old daughter has emotional problems and has been hospitalized. She is now at home and doing very well. Kathy has worked tirelessly with many families whose children have emotional and physical disblilities. She is a good listener, is aware of many available resources and is someone who does not quit until she gets things done. In addition to all this, Kathy has a great sense of humor! She has worked with Social and Rehabilitation Services, the mental health center, the Special Education Co-op, and the court system. In addition to assisting families in Emporia, she would be willing to travel to the surrounding areas of Emporia.
