Miami County

Sheera Clark
Sheera is a registered nurse who has worked in that capacity in a variety of health care settings. She is the mother of four children. Two of her four children suffer from severe emotional disturbance. She is very motivated to help make a positive change for families whose children have mental health issues. Sheera is available to assist families and parents in the Osawatomie area or within a 100 mile radius of there.

Torri Roth
Torri is married and has two sons. One of them has Attention Deficit Disorder and one has Tourette's Syndrome, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder, and other associated disorders. Torri has a lot of parent experience in dealing with situations which arise with children with special needs, including school testing, IEP's, and school in-services concerning working with special needs students. She serves on the board at Miami County Mental Health Center as well as the Kansas City chapter of the Tourette's Syndrome Assiciation. Torri also has been court appointed to the Multi-disciplinary Child Protection Team of Miami County, and she serves as a volunteer with The Joshua Center which is a center that deals with Tourette's and associated disorder. She has a lot of energy, is very easy to talk to, and is available to assist families in the Miami County area.

Jacklin Parker
Jackie is the single mother of two children, one with special needs. She has been actively learning about her son's disability and going to school and mental health meetings to advocate for services for him. Jackie says that she has learned much from talking with other parents who have children with SED. She is employed as the parent support specialist at Miami County Mental Health Center. Jackie is very out-going and easy to talk to. She is available to assist families in Linn, Anderson, Miami, Crawford, and Franklin counties.
