Anita Mason
Anita is the parent of a four year old son who is developmentally delayed due to lead poisoning. She moved to Western Kansas from Chicago. Anita has a good understanding of how parents feel when they are struggling with schools and the IEP process. She has been a case manager working with children with Severe Emotional Disturbance for two years. Anita has worked with school districts, mental health centers, community corrections, adolescent support for juvenile offenders, and Methodist Youthville. She would be willing to assist parents in Haskell, Stevens, Seward, Meade, and Grant counties.
Ann Miller-Blankenship
Ann is a parent and a foster parent. She has had foster children who have severe emotional disturbance in her home in the past and will have more in the future. Ann is an attendant care coordinator and a mandt trainer. She has worked with the Child Assault Prevention Program and she is a coordinator for the Mental Health Education and Prevention Program. Ann has also worked with the Kansas Children's Service League, Social and Rehabilitation Services, Youthville, and several school districts. She would be willing to assist families in the following counties: Seward, Haskell, Meade, and Stevens.
